When an art project comes to an end, publications serve as a record and reenactment of the entire process. They also provide another way for absent “audiences” to engage with the exhibition. The second session of ASE Book Club provided a detailed explanation of how to use publications to introduce art works and share artists’ creative experiences, as well as exploring the planning and birth process of the “Compilation of Literature as an Exhibition: The Terrace Plan at 1431 Huaihai Middle Road,” and the art stories behind it.
